CareerSource Capital Region Recognizes Two Employers for Commitment to Hiring Veterans
G & S Fencing and Danfoss Turbocor Recognized as 2023 Veteran Friendly Employers
GADSDEN, LEON, & WAKULLA COUNTIES, FL – In honor of Veterans month, G & S Fencing and Danfoss Turbocor were recognized for their commitment to hiring Veterans by CareerSource Capital Region.
G & S Fencing and Danfoss Turbocor were awarded the 2023 CareerSource Capital Region Veteran Friendly Employers of the Year on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, by Keith Gerena, Local Veterans Employment Representative, and Trish Yahn, Sr. Director.
G & S Fencing is a Veteran owned business looking to hire more Veterans both locally and across the country. They are recruiting at all levels of the organization from Leadership roles to Laborers and Operators in the field. The G&S team offers shared values with Veterans and a mission that makes it a great fit for anyone with a Military background. Currently, G & S has an apprenticeship position available that is tailored exclusively for Veterans and eligible dependents above 21 years of age. This apprenticeship initiative stands as a testament to the company’s dedication to helping Veterans thrive in post-military careers.
Danfoss Turbocor is another proud winner of the 2023 Veteran Friendly Employer Award! With over 10% of their workforce composed of Veterans and their dedication to annual celebrations honoring their service, Danfoss exemplifies what it truly means to support our heroes.
