Who We Are
We provide customized solutions for career seekers ages 16+ and businesses of any size or industry in the Capital Region. We help career seekers find a job and train for their career. We help businesses recruit, train, and retain the talent they need to thrive in our economy.
Solutions for employers include recruitment assistance, skills assessments for applicants, customized training, and information on tax incentives. Solutions for career seekers include career counseling, resume assistance, training, and skills development. Employers and career seekers are matched through Employ Florida. All solutions are provided at little to no cost.
Programs funded through CareerSource Capital Region are equal opportunity programs with auxiliary aids and services available upon request to individuals with disabilities. Persons using TTY/TTD equipment use Florida Relay Service 711.

Unique Abilities
Our Funding
As a non-profit organization, we rely on external funding to support our day-to-day operations. The majority of our resources are provided through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) under the United States Department of Labor and through the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). Additional funding is provided by the USDOL through Wagner Peyser and the State of Florida as we support programs such as Re-Employment Assistance, Welfare Transition, SNAP, and TANF. We also pursue additional funding by applying for grants.
CareerSource Capital Region programs and initiatives are supported by the U.S. Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Agriculture as part of awards totaling $6,036,884 with 0% financed from non-governmental sources.
Our Contracted Service Providers
Selected through a competitive procurement process, EDSI (Educational Data Systems, Inc.) provides one-stop operations management for CareerSource Capital Region's career centers. This includes developing and fostering partnerships with human services organizations for the benefit of career seekers, facilities management, one-stop credentialing, and develop partnerships with affiliate sites where services can be delivered to career seekers in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties in Florida.
Selected through a competitive procurement process, C2 Global Professional Services manages and operates the federal programs within CareerSource Capital Region's career centers. This includes employment of staff who design, administer and deliver workforce development services for career seekers in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties in Florida.
