In today’s job market, it is critical that career seekers have the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of employers. For this reason, CareerSource Capital Region offers resources and assistance to help local residents jump-start their career by connecting them with the following opportunities:
- Financial Aid: No loans. No pay back.
Up to $10,000 in financial assistance is available for eligible career seekers to pay for tuition, books, and fees in over 80 local educational programs.
- On the Job Training: Learn while you earn.
In addition to financial assistance, career seekers may qualify to be placed at a local company for up to 240 hours of paid work. This training will provide vital, current experience for those who have extended periods of unemployment on their resume.
