6th Annual Talent Innovation Summit Set for April 26th

Business professionals in private, public, educational

and philanthropic sectors invited to attend!

 

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - CareerSource Capital Region, along with its Board of Directors, is pleased to invite business, economic & workforce development, education and community leaders to its 6th Annual Talent Innovation Summit.

The Talent Innovation Summit will feature two dynamic keynote speakers and a panel of influential business leaders who have successfully tapped into hidden talent pools. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to learn how other organizations have built talent pipelines and gained value from diverse populations including youth, refugees, justice-involved individuals and people with disabilities.

 

Keynote Speakers include Jeffrey D. Korzenik, Chief Investment Strategist for one of the nation’s largest banks; regular guest on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV; and author of “Untapped Talent: How Second Chance Hiring Works for Your Business and the Community” and Antoine Wright, Executive Director of Big Bend Habitat for Humanity and licensed Florida Contractor who has mentored nearly 50 teens and young adults through youth program partnerships.

 

Eddie Gonzalez Loumiet, business leader, mentor, speaker, manager and information technology expert, will serve as conference Emcee.

We are happy that the Summit will once again be in-person at the Turnbull Center,” said Jim McShane, CEO at CareerSource Capital Region.  “This is our board’s signature event, which brings together all of our stakeholders, including everyone from business leaders to education providers. Over the years, the Talent Innovation Summit has featured top-notch business, HR and non-profit leaders who discussed talent challenges and solutions from their own experience, and this year is no different. We are looking forward to hearing from Jeff, Antoine, and the panelists this year and we hope leaders from all across the region will join us.”

 

This Summit includes breakfast and lunch for participants and has been pre-approved for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits. Registration is $50 and will remain open through April 14, 2023.
