CareerSource Capital Region Expands Leadership Team

CareerSource Capital Region Names Trish Yahn as Senior Director and

Promotes Hadassah Israel to Managerial Position

 

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region is pleased to name Trish Yahn as Senior Director and Hadassah Israel as Manager, Events and Special Projects.

 

Trish Yahn has been with CareerSource Capital Region since December 2013. She was previously the Client and Business Solutions Manager and had oversight of the Business Solutions and Executive Center departments.

 

“Trish has exhibited outstanding leadership,” said Jim McShane, CEO. “She brings a wealth of knowledge from both the business and career seeker perspectives in workforce development. Additionally, she previously served as a CSCR board member and Human Resources leader in the private sector, and she is a Certified Workforce Development Professional.”

 

In her new role, Trish will continue to partner with executives and organizational leaders to drive corporate initiatives and will also be responsible for oversight of events hosted by CareerSource Capital Region as well as special grants operated by the organization.  Additionally, she will further develop business solutions models and professional development training programs to aide employers operating in the capital area. Trish will also serve as a liaison with local, regional, and state-wide Human Resources associations, Economic & Business Development organizations and other professional associations.

 

CareerSource Capital Region is also pleased to announce a management-level promotion for Hadassah Israel.

 

Hadassah Israel, Certified Business Engagement Professional, has been promoted to Events and Special Projects Manager. In her new role, Hadassah will manage all CSCR Events as well as the Special Projects department, which operates non-recurring grants for CareerSource Capital Region (i.e. Manufacturing Sector Strategies, Apprentice Capital Region, National Emergency and National Dislocated Worker grants). Hadassah joined the organization’s Special Projects team, coordinating the Manufacturing Sector Strategies grant, a little more than a year ago, coming to CareerSource Capital Region from CareerSource Gulf Coast where she worked in a variety of roles including Case Manager, Career Manager, and Central Resource Center Coordinator. 

 

“Hadassah has been a valued team member for more than a year,” said McShane. “Her previous experiences, both here and with CareerSource Gulf Coast, offer a wealth of knowledge upon which she will use in her new position.  We are excited to see her excel in this new role.”
