TALLAHASSEE, FL– CareerSource Capital Region invites local residents to connect with employers looking to fill open, customer service positions at the upcoming hiring fair!

“CareerSource Capital Region currently has over 300 vacant jobs for employers in the capital area posted on Employ Florida, and at least 25% of those jobs require strong customer service skills. Regional employers will be at our Customer Service Hiring Fair January 20th eager to hire,” said Kelli Harris, Regional Recruiter at CareerSource Capital Region. "Individuals who’ve been laid-off from food service or hospitality jobs are strongly encouraged to attend the customer service hiring fair as customer service skills are highly transferable from one industry to another and can clear the path to managerial opportunities.”

 

Career seekers can:

− register for a How to Get Hired at a Hiring Fair workshop (Jan. 14 or Jan. 19),

− get personal resume assistance and interview preparation at a career center, and

− if needed, gain access to a computer to attend the fair at a career center.
