CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICERS FOR ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— CareerSource Capital Region (CSCR) is pleased to announce its Board of Director’s newly appointed executive officers: Patrick Hutto, chairperson; Trish Andrews, vice-chair; Scott Watson, secretary; Beth Kirkland, treasurer; and George Banks, past chairperson. The board elected these individuals at the recent board of directors meeting June 23.
These new appointments come on the brink of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, which will bring statewide changes to how boards implement state and federally funded workforce development programs.
Under Hutto’s leadership, the organization will continue assisting employers and job seekers with employment services, labor market information, and provide training for economically disadvantaged adults, youth, dislocated workers, individuals transitioning from welfare to work, and refugees in Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla counties.
“As chairperson, I hope to continue empowering the system to operate efficiently and strengthen local and regional partnerships that help foster success,” said Hutto, CSCR chairperson.
Hutto brings with him extensive expertise in talent management, with more than 15 years of human resources experience and in-depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative obligations that impact the board’s success. His combination of professional experience in labor relations, talent acquisition, employee relations, non-profit and team building make him uniquely poised to help drive future growth. His appointment comes at a time when CSCR has been focused providing expanded business and community outreach efforts.
"I am confident that Patrick is ready to step in and continue the progress we have made,” said Banks, past chairperson. “He has already made a huge impact while serving as vice-chair, which has exposed him to what the position will require."
