Local Utility Provider to Showcase Job Opportunities!

CareerSource Capital Region to Host a Job Information Session October 13th in Quincy, FL for Talquin Electric

 

Gadsden/Leon/Wakulla County, FL –CareerSource Capital Region invites the public to connect with Talquin Electric, a preferred regional utility co-op, to learn about this growing industry and job openings for positions in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla County.

 

Utilities power our day-to-day lives and attending this information session can lead to a great opportunity to build your career in a sustainable industry. At this event, motivated career seekers can learn about Talquin Electric firsthand and potential employment opportunities that are available. The most commonly recruited positions for Talquin Electric are: 

 

  • Member Services Representatives 
  • Electric, Water and Waste Utility Workers (entry level to senior level) 
  • Safety Administrators 
  • Mapping/GIS Specialists

 

Career seekers attending the session will be presented with an overview of the organization; meet with recruiters, current staff and utility management; and learn about vacant positions as well as the application process. 

 

In addition, door prizes and refreshments will be offered to individuals who bring their resume.
