After a referral from a CareerSource Capital Region employee, Anthony Chairs woke up bright and early to attend CareerSource’s Paychecks For Patriots Hiring Fair.
After making his rounds and meeting with a variety of employers, Anthony reflected, “I’m glad I came. The people were just so friendly. I felt welcome, you know, and I gathered a lot of good information. It was all very helpful and I would recommend to anybody looking for a job to come out and be a part of one of these events.”
He continued, “All of them [employers] were very helpful and I have a lot to choose from. But I am drawn to the Department of Highway Safety. When I get home today, I’ve got my work cut out for me.”
