CareerSource Capital Region Names New Key Leadership Team Member

CareerSource Capital Region Promotes Tandria Edwards to Senior Director

 

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region is pleased to name Tandria Edwards as Senior Director of its Regional Oversight, Performance and Compliance (ROPC) department.

 

Edwards has been with CareerSource Capital Region since July 2012, serving the organization in several capacities including Job Developer, Business Solutions Recruiter, and most recently ROPC Senior Operations Administrator. Edwards has provided oversight of the organization’s Performance & Data Management, Wagner-Peyser and WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker programs, served as the organization’s Ethics Officer and staff for the Board of Director’s Career Pathways Council.  Edwards has an MBA from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University.

 

“Tandria has already exhibited outstanding leadership in previous positions she’s held in our organization, and we are pleased that she’s seamlessly stepping into this senior director role,” said Jim McShane, CEO. “Tandria has a wealth of knowledge not only from our organization but in management roles she has held previously. Our organization is at a critical moment, and we need Tandria in this key leadership role to successfully transition to new contracted service providers in July and implement our strategy to meet the organization’s performance deliverables.” 

 

In her new role, Edwards will lead the organization’s efforts to ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and internal policies; programmatic contract management; oversite for all grant funded programs; and a variety of responsibilities related to the internal operational functions of the organization. Edwards will enhance the organizational processes and infrastructure that will allow CareerSource Capital Region to continue to grow and fulfill its mission.
