PAYCHECKS FOR PATRIOTS HIRING FAIR TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 10

 

CareerSource Capital Region Hosts Hiring Event for Veterans and the Community

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In honor of Paychecks for Patriots Week and Hire a Vet Month, CareerSource Capital Region is proud to present Paychecks for Patriots – a hiring fair dedicated to Veterans, Active Military, and their spouses.

Paychecks for Patriots 
November 10, 9:30am to 12:30pm
Tallahassee Community College Center for Workforce Development


Veterans, Active Military, and their spouses will have exclusive access to local employers for the first hour of the event, then everyone is welcome starting at 10:30am. Free professional headshots will also be available.

Paychecks for Patriots is an incredible opportunity for all career seekers, but namely veterans, to meet with over 25 employers who are hiring for positions in various industries,” said Kara Palmer Smith, CareerSource Capital Region Senior Director. “During this event we will also be recognizing three local businesses for their dedication to hiring and supporting veterans.”

Career seekers who are interested in attending are encouraged to visit a CareerSource Capital Region center prior to the event for assistance with their resume. Hiring fair preparation workshops are also available leading up to the event.
