NEW TEAM MEMBERS JOIN CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION

Executive Center and Business and Employer Solutions Departments Welcome Yani Gonzalez and Bonnie Burk

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region is pleased to welcome two new full-time employees: Yani Gonzalez and Bonnie Burk.

“We are thrilled to welcome two new team members to our Business and Employer Solutions and Executive Center departments,” said Trish Yahn, Client and Business Solutions Manager, CareerSource Capital Region. “Their experience and passion for developing relationships with businesses and career seekers will help our organization continue to provide innovative, high quality solutions to the Capital Region.” 

Yani Gonzalez will serve as the Workforce Solutions Assistant at the Executive Center and administrative office. In previous roles, she worked as a temporary assistant for CareerSource Capital Region and in various positions at the Drury Inn & Suites in Valdosta. Gonzalez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Valdosta University and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Gonzales is also a Florida Certified Workforce Development Professional.
“In my new role, I am excited to help career seekers in our Executive Center connect to the resources they need to achieve their goals,” said Gonzalez. “I have worked with CareerSource Capital Region’s team in a temporary position for several months and am thrilled to be able to have a more hands-on role as the Workforce Solutions Assistant.”

Bonnie Burk will serve as an Account Executive with the Business and Employer Solutions department. She has worked with national executive staffing firms specializing in legal professions for more than 10 years and has excelled in partnering with businesses and career seekers. Burk has a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and Political Science from Michigan State University.  

“In my new role, I am eager to help businesses in the IT industry recruit and retain the talent they need to thrive in the Capital Region,” said Burk. “I look forward to the opportunity to partner with local businesses to provide them with solutions for their talent needs.”
