CareerSource Capital Region and Men’s Wearhouse Seeking Donations of Gently Used Professional Attire to Help Career Seekers Get Back to Work
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region is collaborating once again with Men’s Wearhouse locations in Tallahassee during the 10th Annual National Suit Drive.
This special event is aimed at collecting gently used men and women’s professional attire to give unemployed individuals a chance to look their best as they transition back into the workforce.
Throughout the month of July donations collected at Men’s Wearhouse stores will be donated to CareerSource Capital Region and over 170 local non-profit organizations across the country that help disadvantaged individuals regain employment through job readiness programs and workforce assistance. Over the past nine years, the National Suit Drive has collected more than 1.3 million items of professional clothing.
“Our goal is to arm unemployed men and women with the tools and resources they need to get back into the workforce, and partners like Men’s Wearhouse help us achieve this,” said Jim McShane, CEO of CareerSource Capital Region. “The National Suit Drive equips career seekers with the confidence they need to get back on their feet and achieve success.”

Right now, community members are encouraged to donate their gently-used professional clothing, including men’s and women’s suits, ties, jackets, shirts, pants, belts and shoes at the Men’s Wearhouse at 1594 Governors Square Blvd. As a thank you, donors will receive 50 percent off their next purchase of regular priced retail items (excluding shoes, clearance and Exceptional Value items).
