CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION TEAM EXPANDS

 

Executive Center Promotion and Two New Staff Members

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region announces the promotion of Trish Yahn, CWPD, to Client and Business Solutions Manager, and welcomes two new staff members, Caitlin Carrin and Lorraine Wells. Carrin will serve as Administrative and Accounting specialist, and Wells was named Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Jobs and Benefits Administrator.

Trish Yahn started with CareerSource Capital Region in December 2013. Her previous positions with CareerSource Capital Region include Senior Executive Center Career Consultant for more than two years, and Executive Center Manager from 2016 through October 2017. She has exemplified outstanding leadership and will expand her talents even further as the Client and Business Solutions Manager. In this role, she will manage the daily operations of the Executive Center, Business Solutions, and Special Projects departments. In October 2017, Yahn received the Workforce Champion Leadership Award from the Workforce Professional Development Association, recognizing her for sharing her abundance of knowledge and expertise. 

 “I’m looking forward to new challenges and learning the business solutions side of our organization on a much deeper level.  We already have a great team in place, and that will make this transition much easier,” said Yahn.

 

CareerSource Capital Region also is pleased to announce two new full-time employees.

Caitlin Carrin has accepted the Administrative and Accounting Specialist position at our Administrative location. In this role, Carrin will provide direct support to the CEO and CFO, coordinating all aspects of board, committee and partner meetings. Additionally, Carrin will assist with accounting. Carrin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a minor in finance from Flagler College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  She also was an active member of the Flagler Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.

Lorraine Wells Photo


Lorraine Wells has accepted the DEO Jobs and Benefits Administrator position. In this role, Wells will oversee the Wagner-Peyser funded program, and will be responsible for programmatic oversight of veterans and re-entering citizen solutions. Wells holds a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of South Florida and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Florida State University.  Wells has more than 20 years of experience in supervision of programs, people and projects in both private and non-profit sectors, including 15 years in state government. Wells demonstrates proficient skills in strategic planning, community engagement, relationship building, grants management, and performance and quality management.
