CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION RECOGNIZES 3 LOCAL BUSINESSES FOR THEIR COMMITMENT TO HIRING VETERANS
Apalachee Center, Streamline Roofing, and TeligentEMS Recognized as Veteran Friendly Employers at Paychecks for Patriots Event Today
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In honor of Hire a Vet Month and Paychecks for Patriots Week, three local businesses were recognized today during the Paychecks for Patriots event at Tallahassee Community College for their commitment to hiring veterans.
Officials from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and CareerSource Florida joined CareerSource Capital Region in presenting the 2016 CareerSource Capital Region Preferred Veteran Employer Program Recognition Award to the following businesses:
“We are honored to recognize these local businesses for their dedication to hiring veterans,” said CareerSource Capital Region CEO Jim McShane. “Veterans bring a wealth of experience to the workplace and we encourage employers to connect with us for opportunities to hire veterans and career seekers in our community.”
Each year, CareerSource Capital Region recognizes employers who demonstrate a commitment to hiring veterans. These businesses will be featured in all of CareerSource Capital Region’s centers as Preferred Veteran Friendly employers.
