CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION INVITES CAREER SEEKERS TO ATTEND GADSDEN COUNTY HIRING FAIR ON AUGUST 1

Quincy, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region, in partnership with the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners and the Gadsden County Development Council, invites career seekers to a hiring fair in Quincy.
Gadsden County Hiring Fair

“Our hiring fair on August 1st will feature over 25 employers who are eager to fill open positions in the Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation, Logistics, Health Care, Retail and other industries.” said Kara Palmer Smith, Senior Director at CareerSource Capital Region. “The event will provide career seekers with an opportunity to learn more about the companies and apply for jobs.”
On the day of the hiring fair, Big Bend Transit will provide free transportation to the event from the Winn Dixie located at 1632 W. Jefferson Street in Quincy starting at 8:30am. Shuttles will continue every 12 minutes. The last pick up will leave the National Guard Armory at 1:45pm.
Career seekers interested in attending the hiring fair are encouraged to visit their local CareerSource Capital Region career center prior to the event to update their resume and learn strategies for making great first impressions. The Gadsden career center will hold a “You’re Hired: First Impressions, Interviewing & Follow-ups” workshop on Tuesday, July 31 at noon. This workshop is free to attendees.
