CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION INVITES BUSINESSES TO RECRUIT AT THE PAYCHECKS FOR PATRIOTS HIRING FAIR
Opportunity for businesses to connect with Veterans and Military Families
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –CareerSource Capital Region is proud to participate in the 6th annual Paychecks for Patriots – a hiring fair dedicated to Veterans, active military, and their families.
Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair
November 15, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Florida State University Turnbull Conference Center
The morning will include a Veteran Friendly Employer Recognition Ceremony to recognize local businesses in the Capital Region who are devoted to hiring veterans.
“Paychecks for Patriots will be an outstanding opportunity for local recruiters to meet veterans, active duty, reserve components and military families,” said Kara Palmer Smith, Senior Director at CareerSource Capital Region. “This unique hiring fair allows us to address the employment needs of veterans, by bridging the gap between veteran’s seeking employment and local businesses in the Capital Region.”
The CareerSource Florida network is hosting multiple Paychecks for Patriots events during November across the state of Florida. State partners include the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Florida National Guard, the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, and the CareerSource Florida network.
