Rafael Marimon
Account Specialist for STEM Ready Grant

Rafael joins the team with a background in local and international sales, logistics, and construction. He currently serves as a member of the Marine Corps Reserves as a Forward Observer and Paratrooper.  In his position, Rafael will establish and build relationships with businesses in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties to connect them with career seeker participants for internship, work experience, and employment opportunities through the STEM Ready Grant. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Rafael is also a member of the FAMU-FSU chapter of the National Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

“I enjoy the fact that I will be able to meet new people and expand my knowledge about the capital area through this opportunity at CareerSource Capital Region,” said Rafael. “As a current advocate for STEM, it would be rewarding to exceed all projections for the STEM Ready grant and see people’s lives change as a result of our work.”

Tichaona Matewa
Account Executive

Tichaona’s experience at Keiser University provided him with the opportunity to help people make decisions about their future, which in turn allowed for him to learn about emerging career fields and businesses in both the public and private sectors. In his new role, Tichaona will continue to develop relationships with local businesses to ensure that they find the right talent and have the resources needed for their business to thrive. Tichaona also volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the American Culinary Federation.

“Relationships are essential to creating a talent pipeline for the businesses in our community. In my new role at CareerSource Capital Region I will be able help businesses find creative solutions to meet their needs and help career seekers connect with those businesses.”

Carol Hill
Account Executive

Carol brings a wealth of knowledge from her time working with the Florida Small Business Development Center and Marriott International to the Business and Employer Solutions Team. A Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University Alumna with a Master’s in Business Administration, Carol has a breadth of sales and marketing experience that will enable her to cultivate relationships with local businesses in an effort to connect them to the solutions that best fit their talent needs. Carol also volunteers with the Junior League of Tallahassee and the Meek-Eaton Black Archives Museum.

“I am looking forward getting out into the market and engaging with our region’s employers.  My background in hospitality and with the Small Business Development Center has prepared me to hit the ground running and begin building new relationships with our regions employers.”
