Opportunity for Health Care Businesses to Discuss Talent Challenges
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region invites local businesses, education, economic and workforce development professionals to attend the first Health Care Industry Sector Round Session on September 6, 2018.
CareerSource Capital Region’s sector round discussions offer a vibrant setting where industry intelligence, trends, issues, best practices, and talent needs are shared. This, in turn, will help create viable solutions for both current and future regional workforce challenges in specific industries.

Registered Nurse remains number one in the top five advertised occupations in the Capital Region. According to Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity, of the top ten fastest-growing occupations in the area, eight are in the health care sector: Physical Therapist Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Cardiovascular Techs, Medical Assistants, Physical Therapists, Phlebotomists, Occupational Therapists, and Clinical/Counseling/School Psychologists.
