CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION AND LEON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY TO HOST OPEN HOUSE ON JANUARY 22

New Year, New Career!  Explore Job Search and Professional Development Resources at this Free Event

TALLAHASSEE, FL –CareerSource Capital Region, in partnership with Leon County Public Libraries, will offer a free event for career seekers on Jan. 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Leroy Collins Main Library branch located in downtown Tallahassee.

“Career seekers who are contemplating a new job in the New Year, or are interested in learning more about free professional development resources available at Leon County Libraries and at CareerSource Capital Region should plan to attend this event,” said Lisa Comingore, a workshop development specialist with CareerSource Capital Region.  “This open house provides an opportunity to meet one-on-one with knowledgeable CareerSource Capital Region staff, who can provide career seekers with information and resources to help them meet their specific career objectives,” she added.

Free professional headshots also will be available to event attendees.  Those interested in headshots should dress in professional attire.

CareerSource Capital Region serves career seekers in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla Counties with career centers conveniently located in each county.  In addition, an Executive Center is located in Leon County.  At each center, CareerSource Capital Region staff work individually with career seekers to inform them of career development opportunities, establish clear and attainable career goals, and provide ongoing guidance and support-helping to ensure each career seeker a personalized path to success.
